Note that not all calls will be displayed: some agencies (Orange, Anaheim) do not put all their calls on PulsePoint. Calls involving PD won’t be shown either.

Directs you to the nearest ER bay for Orange and LA counties. Not guaranteed to be 100% accurate, so make sure you double check things before going. Requires Google Maps.

CalTrans QuickMap
Access to the CHP’s blotter for information on freeway TCs. This can give you information regarding the number of vehicles involved and their location.
How to Use
Once you open the app, it will zoom to (roughly) your current location. Locate your call and click on the triangle with exclamation mark icon to bring up blotter info. Read this info from bottom to top: the oldest entries are at the bottom.
Abbreviations

- NB / SB / WB / EB: Northbound / Southbound / Westbound / Eastbound
- JNO / JSO / JWO / JEO: Just north of / just south of / just west of / just east of
- RP: Reporting Party, i.e. the person who called 911.
- WW: Wrong way
- RS / LS: Right shoulder / left shoulder
- SD: Sedan
- #1 / #2 / #3: #1 lane, etc. Lanes are counted from left to right, except separated lanes like the carpool lane or toll lanes. These are referred to on their own.
- HOV: High Occupancy Vehicle lane; the carpool lane.
For example, “WB 22 JEO Brookhurst // Blue SD WW RS” means that on the westbound 22 freeway just east of the Brookhurst on/offramp, there is a blue sedan facing the wrong way on the right shoulder.

OCEMS ERC Care on Gurney Letter
A letter from OCEMS clarifying that no hospital care can be performed while a pt is on a gurney; they must be transferred to a bed first. Penalties for all parties involved (hospital, EMTs, and ambulance company - not the pt) are severe.

ADS-B Exchange
Shows near-realtime locations of aircraft with ADS-B transponders active. Military aircraft can choose to turn their location transponders off, and may not appear here. Sometimes, seeing where FD or PD helicopters are concentrating can help you locate a call.
